New Technical Director for regional IT specialists ThinkIT

Devon based ThinkIT are delighted to announce that Mike Ellis has been appointed as the company’s new Technical Director. Mike has over 18 years of experience in the business IT sector and has considerable hands on IT expertise having been part of the delivery of a variety of specific client projects and ongoing support requirements.

Mike joined ThinkIT in 2012 as a Microsoft IT technician and quickly became an established and valuable member of the firm’s client support team. He is already well known by many of ThinkIT’s clients; providing on-site network and hardware installation, equipment and software upgrades and remote technical advice and support.

His primary responsibilities as Technical Director will include technical overview and planning of the client workload and overseeing the technical team, as well as continuing to use his extensive expertise offering technical assistance and support.

ThinkIT’s Commercial Director Paul McCarthy said, “I would like to congratulate Mike in his new position as Technical Director. This is a much-deserved appointment and recognises his hard work and dedication over the last few years. He is already well respected by our clients’ and his vast experience will further strengthen the management of our technical team and the service we provide to clients”.
