Alastair joined Thompson Jenner in 2015 having graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Keele. Alastair worked within the business & corporate services teams in Exeter while training to become a Chartered Accountant and by the time he qualified in 2018 had gained a range of experience working on all areas of accounts preparation, corporation tax and audit. Alastair has worked mainly on medium and small companies as well as unincorporated businesses. He now manages a client portfolio of incorporated and unincorporated businesses. Alastair is based in our Exmouth office.
Sam joined the tax team of Thompson Jenner in 2021. She qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2011 at a top 20 accountancy firm based in Hampshire where she began her traineeship in 2007. She has considerable experience in dealing with a wide range of UK tax planning for individuals, trusts and estates. Her main specialist area is IHT with her previous role working as an authorised probate practitioner in a non-contentious probate team. Sam is based in our Exeter and Exmouth offices.
Katherine started working at Thompson Jenner LLP in September 2020 after graduating from the University of Plymouth with a First Class Honours Degree in History and winning The Professor Kevin Jeffreys Prize for Outstanding and Original Research.
Currently studying for the ICAEW ACA qualification and working in the Corporate Services and Accounts department, Katherine has also taken part in some audit work. She is based in the Exeter office. Within her role, she prepares statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders as well as consolidated accounts for groups. She also has experience of preparing trust fund accounts, grant audits, turnover certificates and service charge audits.

Jagraj started working at Thompson Jenner in June 2021 as an assistant in the audit department in the Exeter office and graduated from UWE Bristol with a 2:1 Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance with a placement year.
His current role is Audit Senior working on internal and external audit as well as preparing statutory accounts for limited companies. The audits range from academy schools to Devon-based companies.
Jagraj is currently studying towards his ACA qualification.
