A statement from Thompson Jenner LLP on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

16th March 2020

Given the considerable uncertainty that is being created around the rapid spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we thought you would appreciate an update on our state of readiness and contingency plans.

We are closely monitoring the general situation and following the advice given by the relevant authorities.

Our offices currently remain open, but we are actively preparing for various eventualities and scenarios. This includes remote working to help minimise any risk, while keeping the business operating as normally as possible in this difficult time.

We have already reviewed our business to identify critical services such as our payroll services and have taken appropriate steps to ensure these will not be interrupted.

We already have the ability for many of our staff to work remotely or from home should that be necessary. We are extending this capability to as many staff as possible so if staff need to self-isolate, they will be able to work from home and as far as possible keep up normal service.

We will continue to follow advice issued by the government and NHS, and will keep you updated with our plans.
